"We believe that the good of each person is bound to the well-being of society as a whole; therefore we advocate taking personal responsibility for creating a new society within the shell of the old...a place where it is easier for people to be good". In 2006, two families came together, bought side by side houses on the east side of Kalamazoo, and begin their mission of peace and justice. The DeWaeles and the Mechtenberg-Berrigans will share their journey to open Peace House, an intentional Community.
