Paws on Parade

Come and enjoy a day at Stanley Johnston Park! There will be crafts for kids and face painting, informational booths, raffle items, food, music, games for the animals, contests for your 4- legged friends, and demonstrations sure to entertain!  Animals from Al-Van and Greyhound rescue will be available for adoption. Lunch will be available for purchase from 11 am to 1 pm. You and your pet will have the opportunity to earn Good Dog Badges too.Come and enjoy a day at Stanley Johnston Park! At 10:00 am, we will begin our one mile celebration  parade through the downtown area, leaving from Stanley Johnston Park, over the bridge to Williams Street to Center, to Phoenix, to Broadway and up over the bridge back to the park.
