Manufacturing Day 2017

MFG Day is all about showcasing the amazing things that businesses in our region make, and connecting students to the great opportunities that exist with those employers.  It’s also a way for parents to understand that manufacturing isn’t a dirty, noisy, and low-skill industry, like they may have been exposed to as young adults.

Last year’s event attracted over 1,200 students, educators, manufacturers, and other community members. Twelve exhibitors from the manufacturing industry and career and technical education showed off robots, machines, and videos of their products and processes. This was one of over 1,600 events throughout the country.

This year’s event is scheduled for October 6th.  Manufacturing Day will be happening simultaneously from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at both host sites. The Saint Joseph host and tour location is Bosch, located at 3737 Red Arrow Highway. The Niles host and tour location is AACOA, located at 2005 Mayflower Road.
