Managing to Profitability

The Michigan Small Business Development Center in partnership with the Women’s Business Center at Cornerstone Alliance present Am I Really Making Money - Managing to Profitability. This workshop is designed to help business owners understand and implement best practice financial management including:

• Accessing current issues and challenges from your business’ financial statements
• Identifying positive and negative trends in the financial performance of your business
• Understanding cash flow-determining breakeven levels for sales and expenses
• Financial performance analysis-benchmarking against industry peers and other demographics

Led by Carolyn Rourke, a growth consultant with the Michigan Small Business Development Center, the course will cover important financial topics that small business owners need to know when looking at profitability of their business.
