Boat Building Seminar

The Michigan Maritime Museum is excited to welcome Mackinaw Watercraft's acclaimed designer and boat builder Allen Deming, to teach 2 classes at the Padnos Boat Shed on the campus of the Michigan Maritime Museum. On Wednesday, August 5th, Deming will teach his techniques for building laminated canoe and kayak paddles. On August 6th he will present "You Can Build a Wooden Boat", a seminar-style class that covers the basics of the two most popular techniques for home built wooden boats.
