Bike Tour

The third annual Lakeshore Harvest Country Bike Tour will be held Saturday, August 16^th, starting at the Kal-Haven Trail Head off North Bailey Ave in South Haven. The family-friendly ride includes five routes from 15 to 100 miles, designed to accommodate persons of varying abilities. Riders can visit fruit and produce farms, wineries and cider mills along the route. The event includes farm stops, snacks and lunch, a rest stop at a craft brewery, and a ride across a dam.

The event is sponsored by The Friends of the Blue Star Trail, in co-operation with the City of South Haven, Lakeshore Harvest Country, Inc. and the South Haven Van Buren County Convention and Visitors Bureau. All proceeds go to support the work of the Friends of the Blue Star Trail in the construction of an off-road recreational pathway connecting South Haven and Saugatuck-Douglas along the lakeshore.
