The Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum presents the Local Foods Dinner with nationally renowned farmer-philosopher Frederick Kirschenmann. Wednesday, July 30 6:00pm at Lake Michigan College, South Haven Campus. Kirschenmann, a leader in the sustainable farming movement, has been described as one of the "three pillars" of agrarian philosophy, alongside Wendell Berry and Wes Jackson.
Food and drink provided by: The Organic Gypsy, Taste of South Haven, Cafe Julia, Fenn Valley Winery, McIntosh Cellars and Grand Rapids Brewing Company. Live and silent auction of art and antiques.
Tickets are available at the Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum, and are $60 for LHB members, and $70 for non-members.
